FINAL ITINERARY NOTES, GUIDANCE AND INSTRUCTIONS
1. Playing Kit
Please wear your Tour Shirt, & kit, and Tour Track suit for the journey, together with clean trainers.
Bring with you on to the bus, a kit bag with the following:
Clean Boots, with all studs.
Clean pants, socks, Collared Shirt and Club Tie
Towel
Mouthguard
Plastic Bag
Packed lunch (NO NUT PRODUCTS PLEASE) for journey
After the game, please shower and change into clean kit and Tracksuit and use the plastic bag to put your dirty kit in. Shirts etc will be washed back at the hotel, so it is vital to put your name on anything which might need washing.
2. Remaining Kit:- In separate Bag, going in coach luggage compartment.
• Three pairs of ordinary socks & pants.
• Two T shirts.
• One pair of clean trousers/jeans
• One fleece or sweatshirt.
• Swimming costume.
• Washkit. (hotel will supply bathtowel)
• Drinks bottle/Medication if required
• £20 spending money maximum
• Sleeping bag
• There may be an opportunity to view a DVD film if you wish to bring a suitable example (not 18 cert please)
N.B. We strongly recommend that electronic equipment, be left at home. We do not have the facilities to guarantee the security of any valuables. The coaches and adult helpers will have phones for emergencies. A list of contact numbers appears below.
3. Departure Friday 28th March 2008
8.30am. The coach, (Gemini Travel - 01473 462721, Driver Elwyn Jones 07712 671098) leaves the Ipswich RFC Club House Car park. Please make an effort to be there at least 15 minutes before, to load gear, and ensure a timely departure.
4. The Journey to Bristol (209 miles, 4.5hrs including break)
Don’t forget your packed lunch, including a drink, to eat on the coach. We will stop at J11 M4 Reading Service Area for a wc break only.
5. Game 1 v BRISTOL BRUNEL ACADEMY (Contact - Chris Risdale)

We expect to arrive around 2pm for a 3pm kick off. Afterwards, we will shower, change, have a bite to eat with our hosts, and then depart for the Hotel at about 5.30pm.
6. THE IMPERIAL HOTEL (130 miles - approx 2hrs – Owner Louise Price)
3 Windsor Villas Lockyer Street, Plymouth, PL1 2QD (01752 227311).
Drop off bags in rooms and rugby kit to laundry. (NO Payment required)
8pm – Fish and Chips at the Hotel
9pm – sporting quiz/film on site.
7. Saturday 29th March 2008
8.00am Breakfast – Dress in clean Match Kit and Tracksuits.

12.30 – lunch back at hotel
PICK UP BOOTS, MOUTHGUARD, CHANGE OF CLOTHES & SWIM GEAR.
1.15 pm – depart hotel (1/2 hr,16 mile coach journey to)
9. Game 2 v TAVISTOCK U15 (Contact John Friend 01822 820516)

Kick off 3pm. After, shower and change into shirt and tie. Tea provided.
5 pm depart via Hotel to drop off dirty kit for laundry, for 30 min coach ride to:

6pm – Swim
7.30pm – Meal - Sausage & Mash followed by Fruit salad and Ice cream
Return to Hotel. British Summer Time begins at 2am, so one hour less in bed!
11. Sunday 30th March 2008
8.00 am – Breakfast. Dress in clean Match Kit, trainers and Tracksuits
9.00 am – depart hotel with boots, change of clothes and towel + mouthguard in separate kitbag on coach. All Remaining Kit in luggage hold. ½ mile journey to
12. Game 3 V STONEHOUSE SHARKS U15 (Keith Buckley 01752 606722)

10.30 am – Kick off
Afterwards – Change into shirt, tie and tracksuit for Lunch
1.00pm - Coach Departs for Ipswich (307 miles 6.5 hrs) with one stop at Reading M4 Services J11 for refreshment break, possibly others depending on demand.
Approx 7.30pm – Arrives back at Humber Doucy Lane, Ipswich
13. Focal point at base
Annie Cawthorn on 01473 736278, and if she is not available, then Phyllis Anderson on 01473 221255, have kindly agreed to be the focal points in Suffolk for all communications to the Tour Team whilst we are away. They will be able to relay any instructions/ requests to the coaches.
14. Have Fun
